Woodburn Community Association Seeks Feedback for 2019 Events!
In addition to hosting the well-attended Trivia Night again in 2019, the Woodburn Community Association (WCA) is seeking community input for additional family-friendly activities to be held throughout the year. “Let’s spread the fun out over the entire year and have more events that many more Woodburn residents will want to attend”, says WCA President, Laurie Szajna. Ideas are already coming in – expanding the …Chalk Walk or even holding a Euchre Tournament later in the year for example. Be a part of the fun by sharing your ideas or participating on the committee.
How can you submit your ideas? Call Laurie at (260) 615-5227 and leave a message with your suggestions! Now is the time to speak up and recommend events that you, your family, and friends would be interested in volunteering for and attending. As you may not know, the WCA is an all-volunteer organization. Community participation is vital to the success of events in our town. By offering several different events throughout the year, we are hopeful that more individuals from the Woodburn area will have the opportunity to donate their time and talents back to your community!
If you are interested in assisting in 2019 WCA events, please call (260) 615-5227. All Woodburn residents are invited to attend the Woodburn Community Association monthly meeting on the 4thTuesday of the month at 6:30 pm at City Hall. Meetings last just one hour, so come and check it out!
